Florida is known for its heat and humidity, but what can be most notable on the hottest days is the heat index. Today, 'feels like' temperatures are at or near triple-digit status.

Humidity is nothing new for Floridians, but even the locals know when enough is enough when it comes to just how hot it feels. On Tuesday, thanks to plentiful Florida moisture and high temperatures in the upper 80s and 90s, the Weather & Radar app is showing 'feels like' temperatures near 100 degrees, especially in South and Southwest Florida.

Floridians will be happy to know that temperatures peak on Tuesday before slightly cooler air moves in, with highs reaching the low-to-mid 80s, with some spots only in the 70s on Thursday!
