Arctic Blast chills eastern half

An arctic blast of cold air is bringing temperatures up to 30 degrees below average to the country's eastern half. Sub-freezing temperatures will even stick around in the Deep South through the end of the week.

While the Midwest, Great Lakes and Northeast are currently dealing with a powerful winter storm, an arctic front is bringing bone-chilling temperatures to millions. The TemperatureRadar shows that temperatures will be up to 30 degrees below average on Thursday, with sub-freezing lows dipping as far south as the Gulf Coast on Friday and Saturday.

Gusty winds will also bring more misery to those who are out in the cold weather. Did you know it can feel a lot colder when the wind is blowing? Check out the "feels-like" temperature in your area.
