DIY White Christmas
Make your own snow at home

snowman-homemadeYou can make your own snowy creation using our method.

If you missed out on a white Christmas this year, why not make your own snow at home with just a few household items!

It's so simple to create 'snow' you require just two ingredients: shaving cream and baking soda.

Shake the shaving cream vigorously before spraying a small amount into a bowl. Then add about 7 ounces (around 3/4 cup) of baking soda and mix the two ingredients together. Wait around five minutes or until the shaving foam collapses.

Add more baking soda to the shaving cream until you have the desired snow consistency. The more baking soda you add, the more powdery the snow should become.

As an alternative to baking soda, you can also use baking powder or cornstarch. With cornstarch, however, the snow will be a bit firmer and not as fluffy.

Merry Christmas!
