Autumn, Summer on one map

A wide variety of temperatures are in full swing across the U.S.

It is a relatively quiet Tuesday across the U.S., with the WeatherRadar showing clear skies across California, the Southwest, much of Texas, and throughout the South and East Coast. A few showers will roll across the Northwest and Midwest, while a few spots of wintry mix are possible in the northern Rockies and in parts of Montana. Snow will fall over the highest elevations of the Cascades.

It has been an unseasonably mild start to the work week across many parts of the Plains, Mississippi Valley and the South and Southeast. The TemperatureRadar shows 70s and even a few 80s. This is in sharp contrast to the 40s in the northern Plains and 50s across the Rockies and the Northeast.
