Only two weekend's left
East Coast beach forecast

There are only two more beach weekends left for much of the Mid-Atlantic and New England. So will the forecast cooperate.

The end of summer is fast approaching —especially after the autumn preview seen this week — throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and the Northeast. The beach season will end quickly too with the three-day Labor Day weekend only a week away and all schools throughout the Northeast definitely back in session.

The forecast this weekend looks great from Virginia Beach northward to Cape Cod. With highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s, Ocean City, Md., Rehoboth Beach, Del., Long Beach Island, N.J., the Hamptons, N.Y., and Cape Cod will all have plenty of sunshine.

Not only does our WeatherRadar help track the weather at the beach, the UV index will help guide how often to use sunblock. The Marine section provides the latest tidal information too.

Thinking about Labor Day plans, take a look at the 10-day forecast right now to see if the weather will cooperate whether you are staying home, going to beach or to the mountains.
