Autumn arrives
Florida chills out

Autumn arrives across FloridaAutumn arrives across Florida.

Autumn has arrived across the Sunshine State and it looks like it might stick around for a couple of days.

A big autumn storm moving across up the East Coast today and Thursday will drag a cold front across Florida tonight. The WeatherRadar shows a few showers and clouds accompanying the cold front.

A clearing sky, lower humidity and a northwest flow will combine to produce a chilly night across Florida. The heat will need to turned on across northeastern Florida with lows in the 40s with Tampa and Orlando in the middle 50.

Even Miami will drop into the 60s. All of these lows are 10 to 15 degrees colder than normal.

Tonight will be just the start of chilly streak. Highs on Thursday and Friday will only climb into the 70s with overnight lows again dropping into the 50s across most of central and northern Florida. Use the TemperatureRadar to see the autumn arrival.
