Helene's aftermath
Florida clean-up begins

The clean-up has begun along Florida's Gulf Coast, with even locations far from Helene's Big Bend landfall dealing with unbelievable damage.

Our reporter on the ground, Jonathan Petramala, shared this video from Treasure Island, Fla. This Gulf Coast barrier island is located just west of St. Petersburg and it received an estimated 9 feet of storm surge Thursday night.

Weather & Radar will continue to cover Helene's aftermath. Here is a recap of the situation so far.
