Florida continues its rainy season with increased storm chances, with this river levels will continue to ramp up with some dealing with minor flooding already.

Storm chances increase once again over much of Florida. You will notice the WeatherRadar lit up in the afternoon. Still, scattered showers and storms are already affecting parts near Jacksonville and a few more are scattered across South Florida and the Treasure Coast this morning. Expect storms to arrive earlier than the usual afternoon summertime storms today.

The increased early activity is due to the proximity of a stationary front interacting with ample moisture still dominating the Sunshine State. Rainfall across some spots, especially in areas west of I-95 could reach 4 inches. River levels across west Florida and Southwest Florida are dealing with minor flooding that could be exacerbated after today's rounds of storms. Higher than normal rain chances stay for the rest of the week.
