Big West troubles, snow for NE

The big story this weekend will be the potent storm entering the West. Heavy snow, with white-out conditions, will make mountain traveling life-threatening. Up to 6 feet of snow are possible over the highest elevations. This is the same system that is forecast to produce severe weather across parts of the South early next week and we will be monitoring it closely.

Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and parts of Texas will experience rain and a few storms as a low-pressure system moves through on Saturday.
