Our app delivers 2 million+ alerts

Stay safe during dangerous weather events with our Weather & Radar USA app, which has sent millions of timely alerts across the U.S. this year.

Severe weather events can develop quickly and cause widespread devastation. That's why it's essential to stay informed and prepared at all times. With the help of technology and our dedicated weather team, you can receive timely and accurate information to stay safe.

Over the past year, our weather app has issued over 2 million weather alerts to our users. These alerts include 1.8 million thunderstorm and tornado warnings and over 250,000 snow and ice warnings. Currently, the app sends alerts for three types of severe weather: severe thunderstorms and tornadoes, winter storms, and tropical systems.

In addition to alerts for different weather dangers, the app issued alerts for different lead times. These are the nowcast alerts and forecast alerts.

Nowcast alerts are based on the current weather conditions and are issued for a very short range of time, usually up to 90 minutes ahead of inclement weather. These alerts can be quite precise, providing information on the time and location of the events to be warned about. For example, a nowcast warning could be issued ahead of a thunderstorm to warn people of the approaching storm.

Forecast alerts, on the other hand, are generated from weather model data and cover a time range of up to 3 days. These alerts show areas where there may be potentially dangerous weather conditions. Unlike nowcast warnings, forecast warnings cover larger areas and should be interpreted broadly as areas at risk.

By downloading our Weather & Radar USA app and enabling notifications, you'll receive alerts whenever dangerous weather is approaching your area, allowing you to take action and keep yourself and your loved ones safe.

But that's not all. There's a new alert coming to our app this week. We can't reveal much about it now, but be sure to keep an eye out for our announcement. It could be the difference between staying dry or getting soaked!
