Look after your skin
Moisturise during the winter months

We often get dry skin in winter and it is because of colder temperatures. When temperatures fall, our bodies lose less heat causing our blood vessels to contract. As a result, our skin is poorly supplied with oxygen. Additionally, the production of sebum, which produces the natural film of oils on our skin, is reduced. In turn, our skin dries out and begins to flake.

To prevent the occurrence of dry skin, which can also be rather itchy, you should invest in some moisturizing cream. Look for some that has natural additives such as shea butter, almond or jojoba oil as these are all good for the skin and can provide it with sufficient moisture.
