Privacy policy

A possible small tornado tossed an athletic equipment trailer around on Middle Tennessee State University's campus yesterday, and strong storms are possible in the same area again today.

Strong storms will once again fire up across parts of the Ohio and Tennessee River Valleys today, with a few strong storms also possible across the Northern Plains. Damaging winds, hail and a few tornadoes are possible today into tonight.

The WeatherRadar shows strong storms today in cities like Des Moines, Iowa, Omaha, Neb., St. Louis, Bowling Green, Ky., and Nashville, Tenn. Strong storms are also possible from Minot, N.D., to Pierre, S.D.

In addition to strong storms, flash flooding is also possible in these same regions. Make sure to keep an eye on the RainRadar before heading out on the road, and turn on your Weather & Radar app alerts to get the latest information.
