Getting ready for the time change

The video above shows an incredible sunrise in Ogunquit, Me. With daylight saving time coming to an end this weekend, the timing of your sunrises and sunsets will change. Here's how to prepare.

It's almost time to switch those clocks back an hour unless you live in Arizona, which doesn't observe daylight saving time. While the time change can be jarring, the Weather & Radar app has features to help you deal with these changes.

First up is the Astro function. It can be hard to keep up with the new sunrise and sunset times, but this function has all of the details you need in addition to information about moonrise and moonset times.

Sleeping can be challenging once this time change happens, but exposure to morning sunlight can help you get a good night's sleep later. The WeatherRadar will tell you whether sunshine is in your morning forecast. Our 90-minute minute forecast will also tell you if the sun will make an appearance.
