Tennessee hit hard
Helene triggered flooding

Hurricane Helene brought a kitchen sink of trouble Friday from coastal surge and widespread destruction to Florida's Big Bend coast to flooding across the Southeast.

In Tennessee, a deluge of rain — some areas received up to 20 inches of rain in just over 24 hours— caused massive flooding. The video above shows floodwater going over a dam while video below shows flooding at various locations in Tennessee.

Weather & Radar meteorologists have been covering Helene since it first formed and it will continue to cover the tropics for the remainder of the season. Check the WeatherNews for the latest information.
