Up to 4 inches of rain and as much as 4 feet of storm surge are possible. Tropical Storm Bertha is churning in the northern Gulf and will bring tropical-storm-force winds along the coastline from the Florida Panhandle to southeast Louisiana over the next couple of days.

The WeatherRadar shows Bertha south of the western Florida Panhandle as of Tuesday morning, and most of its wet and stormy weather is focused on its southern and western quadrants. The WindRadar shows gusty winds impacting western Florida through southwest Alabama.

While the western coast of Florida will only get rip currents and choppy seas, those in the Panhandle through southern Louisiana have the busiest forecast. Tropical storm alerts are active on the app.

Bertha is moving slowly to the west-northwest over the next several days. This will make it easy for flooding rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated amounts to 6 inches, in addition to up to 4 feet of surge.
