Tropical update: Calm tropical stretch

Enjoy the calm weather tropical days across the tropical Atlantic, things might change next week.

This week will continue to play quietly across the Atlantic Basin as the Madden-Julian Oscillation goes through a suppression phase.

From mid-August on, our eyes shift to the eastern Atlantic. More tropical waves will be emerging from Africa. But those take a while to travel east, so we will have plenty of time to monitor those.
