Tropical update
Possible tropical formation late week

It will be moving to the northeast and it will likely be short-lived.

This week will be another quiet week in the tropical Atlantic, although we will start to see more awakening signs in the second half of the week. Let’s discuss.

A low-pressure system will be forming late this week well east of Bermuda. As this low interacts with a trough, it might develop some tropical or subtropical characteristics. If it is named, it will be for a short amount of time as this system will be moving northeast and entering cooler waters. This system is moving away from the U.S.

We do not expect any other area to develop across the tropical Atlantic this week. We will provide another update Tuesday morning.
