Tropical update
Storm formation dwindles, what’s next?

As mentioned, Tuesday, we expected the tropical disturbance to come into an area of higher windshear and merge with a front exiting the U.S.

The chances for this tropical disturbance dropped to 10 percent on Wednesday morning. Timing on these events is everything! There is a low chance for tropical storm formation over the central Atlantic.

For the second half of August, there will be more tropical waves emerging from Africa and we will be keeping our eyes in their long trajectory toward the west… and hopefully north-north-west. Fingers crossed for fish storms.
