Tropical update
Watching two areas that could develop

A tropical system may develop on Monday or Tuesday near Bermudas.

As we start the last full week of October, we are monitoring two possible areas for development this week.

First up, with a high chance of developing is an area of disturbed weather located to the southeast of Bermuda. Currently, the system is still very disorganized. Conditions could become better organized and it could become a tropical depression by Monday or Tuesday, as it moves northward. But there is not much time for it to live for too long as a tropical system as it will be moving over cooler waters.

Another system in the works?

Currently, there is an area we will watch for tropical development. At the moment there is nothing in the region just east of the Bahamas, but during the week there will be a cluster of storms that will arrive in this region, and they could become better organized into a tropical system.

This is not the time to let your guard down. But models show that with an increase of fronts, these systems will stay away from the Eastern Seaboard and stay out over the Atlantic.
