Our meteorologist's forecast video

The weekend will start off really cloudy and cold for Texas with the chance of mixed precipitation over parts of North Texas. The Houston Rodeos starts this weekend, luckily the sunshine returns just in time to celebrate the first Sunday of this huge event. Out west, the temperatures will be on a rebound after a very cold week. the winds shift as a high-pressure system settles in place over the Rockies.

The weather turns mostly quiet across much of the east, except in Florida where the temperatures will remain about 10 degrees above normal for some areas.
