Big storms in South, East
Today's severe storm threat

Dangerous storms continue to roll across the South, the Mississippi and Ohio valleys, the Midwest, and the Mid-Atlantic this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes are possible.

This is the second day of severe storms. On Tuesday, destructive tornadoes rolled across north-central Illinois and northwestern Indiana. Severe communities were damaged at least 2 people have been killed.

The storm threat continues, with the WeatherRadar showing this morning's storms stretching from Texas and the Gulf Coast northward up the Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic, and into the Northeast later this afternoon and evening.
