Who sees the impacts
Lopsided Bertha moves west

Tropical Storm Bertha remains lopsided as it pushes west. A second landfall is anticipated Thursday afternoon.

If you take a look at the WeatherRadar, finding the center of Tropical Storm Bertha may be challenging. Tropical storms don't always have clear, well-defined eyes, and this is the case with Bertha.

Instead, Bertha is a rather lopsided storm, with most of the showers and storms located on the southern side of the storm. With this lopsided structure, the heaviest rain will impact southern Texas. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain will be possible in cities like Port Lavaca, Corpus Christi and Laredo.

The heaviest remain will remain south of Bertha's center.

The WindRadar also shows the highest gusts separated from the showers and thunderstorms. While the northern Gulf Coast of Texas will remain fairly dry, gusty winds will move through the region.

Gusts up to 50 mph will be possible as Bertha moves onshore later today.
