Around the world: Autumn foliage hot spots

The northern hemisphere is so colorful this time of year as we move further in to autumn. Here are some hot spots for leaf peeping!

Spreewald in Germany is a UNESCO biosphere reserve, areas nominated by national governments where locals work together with nature and biodiversity for sustainable use.

This image above was taken on October 8th, 2022 by one of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites, showcasing the beautiful, warm foliage colors in the Italian national park, home to 70 percent of all biodiversity species.
