Breakfast brief
Spring break soaking systems & snow!

Super-soaking storms bookend the U.S. and more snow is racing across the northern tier on Friday.

Did you know?

About 31.2 million spring-breakers visit Florida each year!

Today's weather outlook

It's an active end of the week. The soaking storm system we've been eyeing is finally about to move into the Southeast, possibly dropping 6 inches of rain in South Florida. To the north, another system is gaining steam and will bring more wintry weather to the Midwest and Great Lakes, with heavy downpours on its southern flank.

After days of sunshine and quiet skies, a storm moves into the West Coast just in time for the weekend. Rain will be the main issue on Friday but we've got our eyes on more Sierra Nevada snowfall.
