Wildfires need a way to spread. When dry winds start blowing sparks across dry fuel, we can see fast-moving infernos. Monitor the gusts across the world on the WindRadar.

Lightning strikes cause between 17,000 and 25,000 wildfires per year, and you can monitor the strikes live on the LightningRadar anywhere in the world. If you know you are in a particularly dry area or that drought has been impacting your region, monitor lightning strikes, as these can easily spark wildfires.
