Flash flooding took visitors to the Dollywood theme park by surprise yesterday after downpours led to quickly rising water. Here's where flooding may happen again today.

Flash flooding is a significant summertime weather hazard and visitors to Dollywood were caught in a deluge on Sunday. Portions of the park, including shops and a parking area, were flooded. One person sustained minor injuries.

Today, heavy rain will continue and flash flooding will be possible from the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys into the Southern Appalachians. Cities that could see flash flooding include Louisville, Ky., Knoxville, Tenn., and Atlanta.

The WeatherRadar shows showers and thunderstorms throughout the day and into the evening hours. Upwards of 3 inches of rain may fall. Make sure you have your Weather & Radar app alerts turned on.
