Record warmth Possible
Hot early spring weekend

It is going to feel like Spring across a large stretch of the southwestern U.S. from southern California into Texas this weekend.

The TemperatureRadar shows highs will be in the 80s in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and all the way to Oklahoma City and Dallas. The Southwest deserts will be in the low 90s, including Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz.

Similar temperatures are expected Sunday and a few daily temperature records are likely to be broken over the next several days.

It will be a great weekend to head outside, but remember to apply the sunblock. The sun angle is starting to get higher and without a cloud in sight, the UV index will be higher.

The unseasonably hot weather continues into early next week across the Southwest, with slightly cooler weather heading into Texas. Stay tuned for the latest forecast.
