On Monday morning, swimmers were told to stay out of the water along Orange Beach, Ala., as rough surf pounded the beaches.

Red flags were up along the Gulf Coast on Monday as rough surf and strong currents made swimming hazardous. Swimmers were instructed to stay out of the water along Orange Beach, Ala.
