Very large hail is the main threat, with damaging winds and isolated tornadoes possible. Cities such as Lincoln, Neb., and Des Moines, Iowa, are at risk.

Friday's threat shifts east and expands as our cold front takes shape. Large hail will again be the main threat, but all types of severe weather are possible. Cities at risk include Abilene, Texas, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, Indianapolis and Detroit.

The severe weather continues into Easter Weekend. On Saturday, the threat extends from south-central Texas to western Pennsylvania. On Sunday, it extends across eastern Texas into southern Illinois. Keep an eye on the WeatherRadar and make sure your Weather & Radar app alerts are on!
