Wintry mess for Ozarks
Slick Arkansas roads, accidents

A winter storm producing heavy snow and frigid temperatures is blasting across the Missouri Valley and the Ozarks today, creating dangerous driving conditions.

The WeatherRadar shows heavy snow falling across Kansas, southern Missouri, northeastern Oklahoma, and northern Arkansas. The above video shows the trouble the snow has caused in Springdale, located in northwestern Arkansas.

This snow is part of a bigger system caused by an arctic blast hitting the central Plains and this winter storm rolling across the South and Southeast.
