SoCal wildfires update

New wildfires have erupted in southern California this week, including the Auto Fire shown in the video above. Dangerous wind gusts continue through Wednesday afternoon, keeping the fire threat elevated.

All eyes will be on the WindRadar through the afternoon as wind gusts up to 60 mph keep the fire threat elevated. Powerful Santa Ana winds up to 100 mph contributed to multiple large fires last week, including the deadly Palisades Fire, which has burned nearly 24,000 acres.

Even those not directly impacted by the wildfires are dealing with low air quality and other issues due to these blazes. Keep an eye on our in-app air quality tool.

While the WindRadar does show conditions improving through the remainder of the week, it's important to remain alert to any changes in wildfire movement.
