Severe threat for Midwest, Fla. flooding

Weather & Radar's Task Force is activated. Severe storms are possible for parts of the central Plains and Midwest while ongoing flash flooding in Florida continues to be a significant issue.

Meteorologist Irene Sans is working on the latest information on the flooding in Florida, in English and Spanish, and will provide forecast updates for Weather & Radar. Meteorologist Mary Mays will provide frequent multimedia updates throughout the day, while meteorologist James West will update the severe weather forecast.
