WeatherRadar shows heavy rains

Heavy, possibly flooding, rains are in the forecast.

Strong to severe storms are impacting western Texas, the Deep South & the Mid-Atlantic on Wednesday, bringing heavy rainfall, possibly causing flash flooding.

The WeatherRadar shows storm activity popping up amongst the heavy rainfall today from Texas to the Mid-Atlantic Coast. Especially for the East, temperatures in the upper 80s and 90s are holding plenty of moisture. Have you felt the humidity?

As these storm systems tap into the abundant atmospheric moisture, downpours may produce rainfall rates of up to 2.5 inches per hour. These downpours could result in flash flooding, especially in areas experiencing drought impacts.

Severe storms are expected throughout the afternoon and evening, impacting evening commutes and activities.
