Tornado outbreak: Damage in Texas, Oklahoma & Arkansas

WATCH: Tornado outbreak
Damage in Texas, Oklahoma & Arkansas

As forecast, the severe weather outbreak left significant damage across northeastern Texas, Oklahoma, and parts of Arkansas.

Preliminary records show that there were 19 tornado reports, 46 wind, and 28 hail reports. In places such as McCurtain, Oklahoma where a possible tornado caused structural damage and left a home destroyed, there were reports of injuries.

National Weather officials will perform surveys of the damage and will confirm which places were hit by tornadoes last night throughout the weekend.

Check out the report from above from our colleague Jonathan Petramala from Powderly, Texas, where a family is miraculously saved after they took shelter in a small room at their home just before the tornado came through and took the rest of the house’s roof and caused damage to their Vehicle.
