Tropical Depression 11
Storm will stay in open Atlantic

Tropical Depression 11 formed in the open Atlantic, it will not affect land.

The tropics are buzzing! We have another formed tropical system. This time is Tropical Depression 11, which is in the central open Atlantic.

The great news about this depression is that although it could become a tropical storm, it will be briefly and then likely to dissipate by Friday. The next name on the list is Julia and it will be moving to the northeast through its final days as a tropical system.

This storm is not expected to affect any land as it will remain over the open Atlantic waters.
