Cross-country storm
Unsettled West

Winter weather swept into Washington on Sunday, causing one truck to spin out in King County. As a cross-country storm moves in today, more inclement weather is on the way.

As our next system pushes in, more unsettled weather is on the way for the West Coast. The WeatherRadar shows rain and snow from Washington to central California this morning. This moisture has already created travel trouble in King County in Washington over the weekend, where slick roads led to spinouts.

This storm will be packed with moisture. The southern Sierra could see 1-3 feet of snow through tomorrow, with the highest elevations picking up an incredible 3-4 feet. Rain totals will range from 1 to 3 inches across the lower elevations in Washington, Oregon, and California.

Tomorrow, heavy rain and snow move into the Intermountain West and Colorado Rockies, where 1-2 feet of snow is possible. Some peaks may even see up to 3 feet. On Wednesday, the WeatherRadar shows this storm bringing rain and a wintry mix across the Plains. Impacts will be felt across the East Thursday and Friday.

Weather & Radar's expert meteorologists will keep you up-to-date on the latest forecast. Keep an eye on the WeatherRadar as we continue to track this system.
