Damage to homes in North Texas

Severe weather continues on the move across the eastern Plains into the Ozarks. It's been a busy weekend with damage reported in several cities across North Texas and Oklahoma.

There were over a dozen tornado reports between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning. At the same time, the line of severe storms moves east, and storms ramp up late Sunday afternoon. More tornadoes are almost a guarantee overnight. Read the forecast by our meteorologist, Mary Mays, here.

On Monday, the National Weather Service will assess the damage from the storms on Saturday and early Sunday. There have been multiple structures damaged after at least nine tornadoes were reported just west of Fort Worth.
