Heavy rain and high winds lash PNW

On Monday, the Pacific Northwest was hit by heavy rain, mountain snow, and gusty winds. This powerful Pacific storm will wind down by Tuesday evening.

The WeatherRadar shows an impressive Pacific storm that moved into the Pacific Northwest on Monday. This storm brought lightning and powerful winds to the region, with winds high enough to send heavy outdoor furniture flying in Seattle.

Wind gusts at 8:30 a.m. this morning.

This morning, the WindRadar picked up wind gusts upwards of 40-50 mph in cities like Seattle, Spokane, Wash., and Casper, Wyo. Power outages will continue to be an issue throughout today.

The good news is that the WeatherRadar shows this storm winding down by Tuesday evening.
