Multi-day severe threat continues

A multi-day severe weather and flood threat continues over the Plains today and lasts into the weekend. The Northwest remains cool and unsettled.

The temperature at Eagles Nest, NM, plunged to 45 degrees below zero to establish an April record for the United States.
