Full weekend slate
“Football” weather across the U.S.

Whether it's high school, college or professional, the gridiron will be full of weekend action. Will the weather cooperate?

The TemperatureRadar will be everyone’s friend throughout the Midwest, Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. Another shot of autumn weather is settling southward, and your favorite team’s hoodie might be needed to keep the chill away, especially for any nighttime games.

Conversely, a cold front will sweep across the East and Northeast on Saturday while downpours linger along the Gulf Coast and throughout the Southeast. A few college games could be a soggy mess with plenty of ponchos and rain coats needed. Track the front using the WeatherRadar as you head for the stadium.

The cold front will depart the East Coast later Saturday, pushing the downpours away from the Gulf Coast. A few showers and thunderstorms will linger across Florida on Sunday, so games in Tampa and Miami might have some delays if a rumble of thunder occurs. The rest of the U.S., from the Plains to the Atlantic seaboard, will be pleasant with plenty of autumn temperatures.

The West Coast will remain hot, so shorts and t-shirts will be needed for most games throughout the weekend.
