Pac storm heads inland

A Pacific storm is rolling across the West Coast today, bringing much needed to rain.

The WeatherRadar shows heavy rain rolling across northern California, Oregon and Washington. The rain will soak San Francisco, Portland, Ore., and Seattle today. Up to 4 inches of rain will be possible.

Wednesday

Heavy snow will continue to fall across the Cascades today. As the system moves inland, it will bring snow to the northern Rockies and the Intermountain region of Idaho and Nevada. Slick roads will be the biggest issue with as a couple inches of snow are likely.

It will be a busy across the West Coast. Another big Pacific storm will bring downpours on Wednesday and Thursday, so be prepared. Weather & Radar meteorologists will be monitoring the systems all week and will provide timely updates in the Weather News section.
