Weather & Radar's Task Force is activated. An enhanced risk for severe storms targets the Gulf Coast, bringing the threat of large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. Flash flooding is also a significant concern today across the South.

Meteorologist Irene Sans is operating the forecast desk and will be providing forecast updates for Weather & Radar and for Weather & Radar in Español. Federico Di Catarina will produce the impacts and expected threats via multimedia. Meteorologist Mary Mays will have frequent updates on our live blog, while meteorologist James West will be running our social media channels.
