Tornado reported in Lake Mary, Fla.

The WeatherRadar shows a tornado that cut across Interstate 4 just north of Orlando on Monday before 10 a.m. local time. The tornado was rated an EF-2 with peak winds of 115 mph.

The WeatherRadar shows a low moving across the Southeast, sending storms across Florida this morning. A tornado tracked across I-4 from Lake Mary to Sanford, Fla.

Two homes in Longwood, Fla., collapsed as the storm moved through. The two occupants were unharmed according to the Seminole County Fire Department. Initial surveys indicate the tornado was an EF-2 with peak winds of 115 mph as it moved through the Whispering Winds subdivision.
