Over the weekend, parts of the Great Lakes were slammed by feet of snow as a lake-effect snow event continued. The video above shows the dugout in Buffalo, Dunkirk, and Orchard Park, N.Y.

Incredible snow totals have been reported downwind of Lake Erie in northwestern Pennsylvania and western New York and downwind of Lake Ontario in northern New York.

However, wintry weather isn't over for the week. From the middle to the end of this week, another storm system will move across the Great Lakes. This system will bring snow to the Great Lakes and interior Northeast and cold rain along the East Coast.
