Rare footage
Croczilla, Florida's Largest Crocodile

Croczilla, the largest crocodile in the Everglades, has been spotted basking in the sun at Florida's Everglades National Park. Despite his massive size, Croczilla seems to coexist well with humans, as demonstrated by kayakers paddling by him without concern.

Move over, Godzilla! Croczilla, deemed to be the largest crocodile in the Everglades, has been spotted catching some rays at Florida's Everglades National Park. Photographer Kymberly Clark captured the moment on video, finally getting a glimpse of the elusive reptile after a wild goose chase.

"I was about to give up when I saw him," Clark said, "Croczilla was right in front of me, just basking in the sun. He was so big, he almost didn't look real!"

Croczilla, estimated to be around 14 feet long, is a sight to behold. But don't let his size fool you - he's a pro at coexisting with Floridians, as Clark observed. "These kayakers got in and paddled off within feet of this giant crocodile. Talk about living on the wild side!"

As awe-inspiring as Croczilla is, he's just living his best life in his natural habitat. Crocodiles are typically found in swamps, rivers, and lakes throughout the world, with Florida being a prime spot for these reptiles. They prefer warm, tropical climates, which makes sense given Florida's sunshine and humidity.

So, if you're planning a trip to the Everglades, keep an eye out for these ancient creatures - but don't worry, they're usually more interested in basking in the sun than making you their next meal.
